University Rooms A-E

The University Rooms ABCDE offer a great venue for receptions, banquets, exhibits lectures, dances or just about any event.

The multipurpose rooms can be reserved separately for smaller gatherings or together for larger events.

Typically when divided at its smallest, this room is divided into thirds (A, B or CDE). Event capacity for University Room A, B or CDE depends greatly on the set-up and can range from approximately 64 (banquet style) to 140 (theater style). Seating capacity will decrease depending on staging, 6 foot tables and AV equipment needed. Each third of the University Rooms comes equipped with a projector screen, projector, laptop connector, speakers and one microphone on a podium stand.

NOTE: All built-in systems in the University Rooms come with a laptop connection that is compatible with PC laptops. All Mac users will need to have a VGA cable adapter in order to use the system. The University Rooms rooms are not equipped with computers.

  • Setup: Maximum occupancy is 400.
  • Food: Allowed 
  • Reservations can be made a year in advance.

Atrium

The Atrium is located on the first floor of the Student Center. This is an open area located outside of the University Rooms.

Helpful Tips:

  • Setup: It is a multi-functional space
  • Food: Allowed
  • A/V: No AV equipment is installed, minimal AV support.
  • Reservations must be made to use this open-access common area.
  • The Atrium is an open space and does not require special access privileges.

Staff Lounge

This room is not available for special events between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. During that time it is open to all faculty and staff members to use for lunch.

  • Setup: Maximum occupancy is 25.
  • Food: Allowed
  • A/V: Built-in AV equipment is installed in this space.

Leadership Room

An existing set-up room that is arranged banquet style for 84 people. The room includes 14 small banquet tables with chairs, a podium, and (4) 6'-0" rectangular tables. There is also built-in AV equipment installed in the room which comes with a laptop connector, projector, speaker system and one microphone on a podium stand.

Helpful Tips:

  • Setup: Maximum occupancy is 84. No extra tables and chairs can be added into the room. One table is permanently located outside the room as a check-in table.
  • Food: Allowed
  • A/V: Built-in AV equipment is installed in this space.
