Chief Lead

The Chief Executive Lead will maintain a connection with both campuses and other locations (ie. Convocation Center and KSU Center) to act as the voice for students, ensuring that the Department of Events and Venue Management can benefit all students of KSU. To provide overall leadership and direction to Night Owl. All Night Owl Leads will report to the Chief Executive Lead. This position reports to the Executive Director and Staffing and Administration Coordinator for the Department of Events and Venue Management. Providing support to the Executive Director and serving as spokesperson for Night Owl is critical to this role. Also, creating a bond between Sports and Rec, Athletics, and student organizations on each campus to help better KSU’s student engagement is a top priority.

Favorite Part about Night Owl: Working events is a lot of fun but my favorite part about working for Night Owl is how much the full-time staff invests into the students. The amount of time that is spent with students is like no other place you could work for in college. From Full-Time to Leads we all want to make sure that everyone is developing and growing in every area of their life during their time with us.

About me: I am from Macon, Ga which is about two hours south of campus. Coming out of high school I did not really know what I wanted to do as a career but knew I loved sports and the impact that it has on our culture. Since my freshman year I worked as an Equipment Manager for the KSU Football team and moved over to Night Owl in the Spring of 2019. I am still not completely sure what I want to do as a career but I love logistics, operations, working with people and seeing all the planning and preparing for an event come together. Besides Night Owl I attend church at Woodstock City Church and I lead a small group in the High School Ministry there. I am a fan of all the Atlanta sports teams but I have a soft spot for the Braves. In my free-time I like to get away and spend time with friends and family. If you see me around make sure to say hey!!
