BroadcastThe Broadcast team manages and performs multifaceted aspects of practical video production for live events, such as: guest lectures, music performances, and sporting events. This team oversees all logistical and technical phases of live broadcast production for KSU and our clients, from pre- to post-production, and camera and control room setup.

The Business Development team is responsible for developing business opportunities for KSU through event coordination, client relations, and campus partnerships. This team plans, coordinates, and executes various external events using a wide array of our spaces across both campuses.

Crew Call
The Crew Call team is the front of house event day staff of Night Owl. This team supports front of house needs for events such as ticket scanning, ushering, attending suites, guest services and more. This team also assists the department with various projects as needed such as event set up and tear down, facility upkeep, and department/campus initiatives.

Event Audio Visual
The Event Audio Visual team provides audio, video, and lighting support for events at Kennesaw State University. This team works directly with clients, performers, and producers to prepare the technical aspects of every event. This team runs in-house production positions such as Sound Engineer, Computer Graphics, Switcher, and Lighting.

Event Logistics
The Event Logistics team coordinates with clients, vendors, & other departments to plan & execute maps, spreadsheets, & timelines for all events. These documents lead to strategic thinking and planning needed to organize all moving parts of the event planning process. This team assists with event execution as needed to ensure all of the client’s needs are met.

Facilities
The Facilities team maintains and operates our multiple first-class venues ranging from the 88-acre Sports & Entertainment Park to the Event Center on the Marietta Campus. This team ensures each of our venues are ready to host any and all of our events through maintenance and operational tasks. Each venue requires different daily and weekly needs that are constantly being upkept by this team.

Guest Experience
The Guest Experience team delivers exceptional guest services for our fans by servicing premium areas, managing all catering and special requests unique to each event hosted by our department. This team regularly inputs initiatives and completes tasks to elevate not only our guests’ experience but our clients’ staff, and partners as well.

Marketing
The Marketing team creates and spread brand awareness through social media & traditional media while implementing marketing strategies. This team creates and implements marketing plans for the Night Owl team and our venues. This team is responsible for graphics, photography, social media platforms and various usage of department logos and brands.

Presidential & Signature Events
The Presidential and Signature Events team works closely with the Presidential team to assist with the preparation & execution of all presidential & university signature events. This team is responsible for events involving the University’s president as well as any presidential entities incorporated into other events such as hospitality and premium services.

Staffing & Student Engagement
The Staffing and Student Engagement recruit university student staff, coordinate staffing for all events, engage & create a memorable experience for all Night Owls. This team is responsible for making Night Owl staff a priority through creating a memorable experience. As a team we recruit new staff members and engage our active staff members by participating in Kennesaw State’s student orientations, job fairs, campus-wide activities and more.

Ticketing & Business Operations
The Ticketing and Business Operations team serve as the primary call center for the department. This team is responsible for conducting ticketing services for all ticketed events, and administrative services for the department. This team interacts with guests to provide customer service both pre, during, and post event day.
