The Perch & The Stadium are home to the club sports and intramural sports programs. The Perch consist of four state-of-the-art synthetic turf fields and one natural turf field that host several competitions for intramural and club sports each year.

  • Fifth Third Bank Stadium
    The Stadium opened on May 2, 2010 as part of Phase II of the KSU Sports + Entertainment Park. Through an innovative partnership with KSU Athletics and Fifth Third Bank, they became the official bank and the stadium was renamed Fifth Third Bank Stadium on February 14, 2013. The Stadium is the home of the Kennesaw State Owls (soccer, lacrosse and football) and Atlanta United 2 (professional soccer).

    State of the art stadium featuring 8,300 permanent seats, 14 premium suites, 7 outdoor suites decks, premium loge seating and a floor capacity that can accommodate an additional 13,000 fans. Flexible configurations allow concert scaling to be set for 4,000-23,000 patrons with in stadium.

    Fifth Third Bank Stadium has 14 Indoor Premium Suites accommodating up to 272 VIP patrons. There are 12 Indoor Luxury Suites that can seat no more than 16 people. 2 Super Suites are available to accomodate large groups of up to 40 people. We have 7 Outdoor Suites are also available to hosts groups of up to 40

    The Perch 
    consist of four state-of-the-art synthetic turf fields and one natural turf field that host several competitions for intramural and club sports each year as well as drop-in play for KSU students. In addition to the fields, The Perch has four sand volleyball courts and a .93 mile walk/jog/run trail around a 9-acre lake which host several events for student organizations and the KSU community such as 5K races and sport tournaments.

  KSU CenterThe Department of Event and Venue Management KSU Center Event Space

The KSU Center is designed to accommodate educationally-oriented events in a state-of-the-art meeting and training environment. It offers two conference rooms and numerous classrooms equipped to meet your technology needs. Groups with as many as 250 attendees can be accommodated.

  • KSU Center is located just off I-75 in Kennesaw, Georgia, only one mile from the main campus of Kennesaw State University. The KSU Center is designed to accommodate educationally-oriented events in a state-of-the-art meeting and training environment. There are two conference rooms and numerous classrooms equipped to meet your technology needs. Groups as large as 250 can be accommodated.

    Scheduling Events

    Outside Requests
    All outside (non-KSU) requests for space will be arranged through the KSU Center Management office. An agreement for usage of the space will be sent to the client. The client must return a signed copy of the agreement with payment prior to the event. Some exceptions (ie. state agencies) will be allowed to make payment after the event. If food service is required, the client is responsible for making those arrangements. KSU Catering is the standard provider of catering services at the KSU Center. KSU Catering can be reached at 470-578-2208. Room set up and standard AV equipment arrangements will be handled by the KSU Center Management office. Requests can be made by calling 470-578-6949 or e-mailing ksucenter@kennesaw.edu.

    Internal Requests
    Requests for space will be handled by the KSU Center Management office. Please fill out the KSU Center Request form. All pertinent rules and regulations must be adhered to for all events.

  Carmichael Student Center
KSU Events and Venue Management Carmichael Student Center Header

The Carmichael Student Center is the central location for student, faculty and staff events on campus.

  • University Rooms

    The University Rooms offer a great venue for receptions, banquets, fairs, lectures, dances or just about any event.

    These multipurpose rooms can be reserved separately for smaller gatherings or together for larger events.

    Event capacity for the University Rooms depends greatly on the set-up and can range from approximately 64 (banquet style) to 140 (theater style). Each of the University Rooms comes equipped with a projector screen, projector, laptop connector and speakers.

    NOTE: All built-in systems in the University Rooms come with a laptop connection that is compatible with PC laptops. All Mac users will need to have a VGA cable adapter in order to use the system. The University Rooms are not equipped with computers.

    Helpful Tips:

    • Setup: Maximum occupancy is 400.
    • Food: Allowed.
    • Reservations can be made a year in advance.

    Atrium

    The Atrium is located on the first floor of the Student Center. This is an open area located outside of the University Rooms.

    Helpful Tips:

    • Setup: It is a multi-functional space.
    • Food: Allowed.
    • A/V: No AV equipment is installed, minimal AV support is available.
    • Reservations are required to use this open-access common area.

    Leadership Room

    The Leadership Room is an existing set-up room arranged banquet style for a maximum of 84 people. The room includes 14 small banquet tables with chairs, a podium, and (4) 6'-0" rectangular tables. There is also built-in AV equipment installed in the room which comes with a pc, projector, speaker system and one microphone on a podium stand.

    Helpful Tips:

    • Setup: No extra tables and chairs can be added into the room.
    • Food: Allowed.

  Convocation CenterKSU Events and Venue Management Convocation Center Header

The Convocation Center is the largest facility on Kennesaw State's campus. The venue hosts events ranging from commencement, sporting events, and formal dinners.

  • For internal events, please submit a Convocation Center Request in KSU Reservations to reserve space for your event.

    PLEASE NOTE: Your request for this venue is not confirmed until you are notified by the Department of Event and Venue Management. Do not publicize, sign contractual agreements, or notify guests of your event until you receive a confirmation.

    About the KSU Convocation Center

    The Convocation Center is the largest facility on Kennesaw State University’s campus. The 3,866-seat arena opened in 2005 and is home to the Owls men's and women's basketball teams, the volleyball team, the Athletics and Health Promotion & Physical Education departments' administrative offices. Classes are also held in this building.

    Located  across from Kennesaw Hall and the campus green, this spacious facility can accommodate fans for concerts, seminars and other entertainment and business events. The facility has hosted numerous events including athletic competitions, competitive cheer events, youth camps, college and high school commencements and many other academic gatherings.

    The Convocation Center underwent many updates in the summer of 2012, including a Daktronics video wall. The facility also features the Hospitality Suite located on the third floor of the venue that can serve as a VIP suite.

    Important Things to Know

    • The Convocation Center is available for reservation requests, however availability is based on athletic events including volleyball & basketball season.
    • Setup
      • The arena does not come pre-set. All items for an event must be rented.
      • The arena basketball floor must be covered for all events (requires a minimum of 4 hours to cover the floor and 4 hours to remove).
    • Requests for the Convocation Center Arena floor should be made three to six months in advance of the desired event date.
    • All Convocation Center classrooms are used for KSU academic program delivery. Requests where disruption of academic programs would occur will be subject to approval.
    • If the event is approved, the Department of Event & Venue Management will send a confirmation along with any expected costs to the requester.

    Parking location and directions vary based on event. Parking charges may apply.

    Handicapped Parking: Designated parking for those with special needs is available in all campus parking areas. Patrons must display the required handicapped-parking permit.

    Prohibited Items

    Security has the right to inspect any item at any time for the purpose of safety.

    Prohibited items must be returned to cars or disposed of before entering the venue and will not be accepted by employees. There will be no place offered to store any of these items.*

    • Aerosol/pressurized cans
    • Animals (except service animals and service-in-training)
    • Artificial noisemakers including air horns, whistles, musical instruments, etc.
    • Banners, posters, and flags larger than 4’x3’
    • Flyers, handouts, advertisements
    • Glassware of any kind
    • Glitter
    • Helium balloons
    • Illegal substances, drugs, and chemicals of any kind
    • Inflatables
    • Instruments of any kind
    • Laser pointers
    • Open flames
    • Poles or staffs of any kind (metal, plastic, wooden)
    • Weapons, flares, fireworks, and smoke devices
    • Use of e-cigarettes, vapes, Juuls, dip, chew, etc.

    *Event management reserves the right to make exceptions upon its discretion.

  Outdoor SpacesKSU Events and Venue Management Outdoor Spaces Header

With over 320 acres, the Kennesaw State campus offers plenty of outdoor space for events including the campus green, the Legacy Gazebo and the Carmichael Student Center Terrace.

  • Campus Green

    The Campus Green is a central outdoor space for all student activity. Here you will find students playing pick-up flag football or frisbee. Students relax, study and join in fellowship around this quad.

    Helpful Tips:

    • Setup: Items may need to be rented if all in-house resources have been reserved.
    • Food: Allowed.
    • Audio/Visual Information:
      • In accordance with the KSU Freedom of Expression Policy, amplified sound is prohibited on the Campus Green Zones 1-9 (Kennesaw campus) and by the Globe between the Administration Building and the Joe Mack Wilson Student Center (Marietta campus), except for University-sponsored events. Please refer to the Amplified Sound Policy page for more information.
      • For University-sponsored events only
        • Amplified sound will be determined on a case-by-case basis
        • Charges may apply for any additional A/V services and equipment that do not come with the venue.
    • Alcohol is not permitted on the Campus Green.

    The Legacy Gazebo

    The Legacy Gazebo is located between the Social Science and English buildings. It is an outdoor amphitheatre with a small stage and outdoor lights.

    Helpful Tips:

    • Setup: Existing set up only.
    • Food: Allowed.
    • Audio/Visual Information: Amplified sound is only allowed during certain periods of time. Please refer to the Amplified Sound Policy page for more information: https://events.kennesaw.edu/procedures/amplified-sound.php.
    • Charges may apply for any additional A/V services and equipment that do not come with the venue.

    Terrace

    The Terrace is located on the west side of the Carmichael Student Center. The Terrace is an outdoor miniature amphitheatre with open access and seating for 15 people.

    Helpful Tips:

    • Setup: Six foot tables, chairs, and a small PA are available upon request.
    • Food: Allowed.
    • Audio/Visual Information: Amplified sound is only allowed during certain periods of time. Please refer to the Amplified Sound Policy page for more information: https://events.kennesaw.edu/procedures/amplified-sound.php.
    • Charges may apply for any additional A/V services and equipment that do not come with the venue.

    Austin Amphitheater

    The amphitheatre is located on the south side of campus at the Austin Residence Complex. It is an outdoor space with a small stage and seating for 50 people.

    Helpful Tips:

    • Setup: Existing setup only. If additional items are needed, they will have to be rented by the department hosting the event.
    • Food: Allowed.
    • A/V: Amplified sound will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Charges may apply for any additional A/V services and equipment that do not come with the venue.

Kennesaw State University has approximately five auditoriums and over 300 classrooms.

  • Helpful Tips:

    • Setup: Existing setup only.
    • Food: Food and drink are prohibited in all classrooms and auditorium space.
    • A/V: If you need any audio visual assistance, it is your responsibility to request it in KSU Reservations when submitting your event request.
    • All rooms require a key card access.

    The Zuckerman Museum of Art presents significant works from Kennesaw State University's permanent collection while regularly exhibiting contemporary works of various media by local and nationally-recognized artists. The ZMA serves as a center for the enrichment of the arts, arts education and professional development. Through the creation of uniquely curated exhibitions, community outreach, workshops and programming, the museum acts as a bridge between the campus and the community while also providing dedicated exhibitions for the KSU students and faculty in the ZMA's satellite gallery.

  Bailey Performance CenterKSU Events and Venue Management Bailey Performance Center Header

The Dr. Bobbie Bailey and Family Performance Center is home to the Kennesaw State University School of Music.

  • The Dr. Bobbie Bailey & Family Performance Center hosts over 150 performances each year in addition to rehearsals, seminars, recording sessions, and master classes for Kennesaw State University music students and faculty. The Dr. Bobbie Bailey & Family Performance Center also presents the Premiere Series, the flagship concert series of the Kennesaw State University School of Music.

    The Dr. Bobbie Bailey & Family Performance Center has an acoustically superb 624-seat performance hall, designed by John Abbott of Stevens & Wilkinson Stang & Newdow Inc., with acoustic design by David Kahn of Acoustic Dimensions Inc. The variable acoustics in the space allow it to be optimally configured for a variety of musical presentations.

Siegel Student Recreation and Activities Center (SRAC) designed by Hughes Group Architects is a beacon of life and motion.  Home to the Department of Sports and Recreation and the Center for Health Promotion and Wellness, the SRAC strives to offer a variety of activities to foster the development of the KSU students’ physical, social, and leadership progression through sports, recreation, and wellness opportunities.
